To use the slicker, slowly and gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The long plastic pins penetrate deep into the coat, gently detangling fur and removing loose hairs. The soft plastic pins have balled ends to ensure your dog is kept comfortable while being groomed. The shorter bristles smooth the top coat, gathering loose and dead hair to leave a neat and glossy coat. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, start gently. Pause or end end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated.
Grooming tips: Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessionsn your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.

Delivery & returns
Free UK delivery on orders over £100. Orders under £100 are charged at a flat £4.50 to mainland UK.
Order before 11am Monday to Thursday for dispatch the same working day. Most orders arrive the next working day once dispatched.
Click & Collect is free from 15-17 Oldgate, Morpeth, with no minimum spend.
Returns: unwanted items can be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused and in their original packaging. Please email info@mypethq.co.uk to arrange it before sending anything back. Return postage is at your own cost unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
We can't accept opened food, treats or supplements back, for health and safety reasons. That doesn't affect your rights if something is faulty.
If anything arrives damaged, short or wrong, let us know within 48 hours with a photo and we'll put it right.
