Thanks to its chewy bubbly texture, the Woofbrush reaches the gumline to help fight plaque. Its delicious taste turns teeth cleaning into a joy!
We’ve made this Woofbrush will all the benefits from our original Woofbrush, but now with added gut health support! We’ve included inulin from chicory root for prebiotics and psyllium seed husk for added fibre, both of which help to support gut-friendly bacteria.
We believe all pets deserve proper food, and that's still true when it comes to dental chews. Because dogs eat their ‘toothbrush and toothpaste' (their dental chew), it's important that their chew is as kind to their tummy as it is to their teeth. Woofbrush has been carefully crafted with help from our pet dental expert to make sure it works brilliantly, and uses top notch natural like parsley, coconut oil and fennel for a proper clean without the added nonsense.
We recommend brushing teeth daily but if this is not an option a Woofbrush a day is a good alternative and will help support your dog's dental health.
Potato Flour, Tapioca Starch, Glycerine, Cellulose, Algae (1.8%), Nutritional Yeast, Fennel (0.3%), Coconut Oil (0.3%), Inulin from Chicory Root (0.3%), Decaf Green Tea Extract (0.2%), Parsley (0.1%), Psyllium Seed Husk (0.05%).

-With fine stainless steel teeth that will trap and remove fleas
-With rounded teeth to ensure your dog's comfort
To use, ensure your dog's coat is free of tangles of knots. Gently comb the hair in the direction of the fur growth. If fleas or eggs are identifitified, seek further treatment.
Grooming tips: Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exerc. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.

High quality turmeric extract containing 95% curcuminoids, with added piperine for increased absorption
Our specially formulated Turmeric Tablets for dogs and cats are made using a pure and potent extract. Consisting of 95% curcuminoids - the active part of turmeric - they can help support your pet`s natural anti-inflammatory processes. This may be of particular benefit to pets with troublesome joints. Extracted from whole root and with added Bioperine® (black pepper extract) to help boost absorption, you can be sure that our supplement has maximised quality and bioavailability.
What is turmeric?
Turmeric is the latest wonder herb from Southern India and is in the same family of herbs as ginger. The rhizome is the part of the plant that is eaten - this is the underground, horizontal stem, commonly termed the root.
The therapeutic actions of turmeric have widely been attributed to compounds it contains called curcuminoids. There are three main curcuminoids but the most common and well known is curcumin, which makes up 80% of the total curcuminoids in turmeric. However, curcuminoids only account for 2-6% of the root’s content and the whole root provides activities superior to curcumin alone. By taking supplements created using the whole root you get a whole host of other benefits from all the other compounds that make up turmeric, as well as the curcuminoids.
What are the benefits of using turmeric?
Historically, turmeric is well known for its naturally supportive properties in anti-inflammatory processes. There are likely to be many other benefits to taking turmeric though and studies are ongoing to discover them, so watch this space! There is more about turmeric and its effects on our blog post - click here
Why Dorwest Turmeric Tablets?
Easy to absorb
Unfortunately, the bioavailability of curcumin has been found to be low. This is the proportion of curcumin that can be absorbed and enter the blood circulation following ingestion, which can then have active effects on the body. Luckily, we have a solution though - by adding in a compound found naturally in black pepper called piperine (Bioperine®) the bioavailability of curcumin is increased. In fact, one study has found that taking piperine along with curcumin can increase its bioavailability by 2000%!
Standardised, traceable and sustainable
With the popularity of turmeric soaring there are unfortunately those wanting to make a ‘quick buck’ by selling low-quality produce. Turmeric has even been found to be mixed with other ingredients and artificially coloured. Good quality turmeric and curcumin supplements for dogs and cats will contain a standardised amount of curcuminoids of 95%. Our Turmeric Tablets were made with this in mind and contain 95% curcuminoids, with each tablet providing 175mg of whole root turmeric extract, equivalent to 7175mg dry whole root.
Our Turmeric Tablets are fully traceable and vigorously tested from source to end product to ensure a pure and consistent high quality. We only use sustainable sources, opting for turmeric grown using traditional small farming methods in Southern India, as our impact on the environment and local communities is very important to us here at Dorwest.
We know it might be tempting to use turmeric you see on the supermarket shelves but the turmeric we use for our dogs and cats must be of medicinal quality; culinary turmeric is produced for taste, not the quality of the curcuminoid compounds.
Is turmeric safe to give?
Turmeric is thought amongst herbalists to be a very safe herb but it is important to discuss its use with your vet before you give it to your pet, especially if they are taking any medication or about to undergo elective surgery. It’s important to note that turmeric reportedly has anti-coagulant properties which could exacerbate clotting disorders.

Help keep your pet’s tummy naturally comfortable and stools normal with this blend of complementary digestive herbs
Three herbs renowned for their digestive health properties work together provide effective digestive support, for comfortable tummies and normal stools.
Slippery elm bark
- - contains mucilage, a sticky substance that helps maintain good bowel regularity and stool consistency
Marshmallow root
- - another powerful mucilagenous herb that coats the gut, soothing and assisting gut transit
White poplar bark
- - helps to keep tummies comfortable, thanks to its soothing properties
Which dogs can benefit from Tree Barks Powder?
Gut problems are common in our pets, with gurgling tummies, excessive wind, nausea, inappetence and looser or more frequent stools all being signs that something isn`t quite right. Various medical conditions, stress and changes in your pet’s environment or diet (including eating things that they shouldn’t have!), can all be to blame. Whether it’s ongoing tummy troubles or a short-term upset though, Tree Barks Powder can help quickly soothe your pet’s digestive tract, as it is suitable for long or short-term use. The gentle action of Tree Barks Powder means that it is suitable to use in pets of all ages too, including weaning puppies and kittens.
How does Tree Barks Powder work?
Tree Barks Powder is a fine fluffy powder which does something magic when it gets wet! It becomes almost blancmange like, hence the name ‘slippery’ elm, and we all know how gooey marshmallows are... The moisture in the digestive tract is enough to cause this Tree Barks Powder transformation, allowing it to coat and soothe the stomach and digestive tract (emollient action), and slow down the passage of food. All this helps maintain normal absorption of nutrients and stools with a normal consistency.
Ingredients: Finely powdered slippery elm bark (50%), marshmallow root (40%) and white poplar bark (10%)
Administration: Give daily. Add 1 tsp per 10 kgs bodyweight to food (split this total daily amount between meals) or mix with liquid. This amount can be increased if required, based on individual response.
Can be used during pregnancy?: Yes
Can be used during lactation?: Yes
Interactions: Can be given in conjunction with other medications
Product Finishing: Powder
Special Warnings: Due to the wide range of intestinal disorders, some of which may be serious, it is recommended that veterinary advice be sought before using this product or if the condition fails to improve.

All the power of ‘super-greens’ in an easy to give powder for an all-round health boost
Our Easy Green Powder supplement has all the power of `super-greens` in an easy-to-give powder. Just add to your pet`s normal food for them to get all the benefits of eating a bowl of greens, without a spinach leaf in sight! The quick air-drying process retains maximum nutrients in a digestible form to naturally boost levels of iron, vitamin C, chlorophyll, calcium, magnesium and antioxidants (to neutralise free radicals) for all-round health. For pets with hot, itchy skin, our Easy Green Powder also has cooling properties.
Why might my dog need Easy Green Powder?
Did you know that dogs find it hard to digest vegetables? Even a super green dinner packed full of vegetables might not give your dog much veggie goodness! This is because dogs find it hard to break down the cellulose in vegetables, so these nutritious plants need to be given pulsed, or more easily, in an appropriate supplement for better absorption. Dogs also have a much shorter digestive tract than humans, so have a smaller time period in which to absorb the nutrients from food. Our Easy Green Powder is especially made for dogs to maximise absorption, providing a diet super-boost.
Is this suitable for dogs on a raw diet?
Yes, absolutely! Our Easy Green Powder is the perfect partner for a raw diet. Providing a range of nutrients in an easily digestible form, it is 100% natural, with no fillers or additives.

Naturally reduce your pet’s stress or anxiety with no drowsiness
We know it can be stressful to experience and manage your pet`s anxiety but we`re here to help, every step of the way. Our Scullcap & Valerian Tablets help to naturally relax your pet, with the active herbs naturally supporting the calming pathways within the nervous system, reducing anxiety without immobilising muscles or causing drowsiness. They don’t make pets dopey or wobbly – in fact they are widely used for agility and show dogs when they need to be alert and focussed, but calm. One of our best-sellers, Scullcap & Valerian Tablets help tackle stress, fear and anxiety, whatever the cause, so you and your pet can relax, no matter what.
How do these tablets work?
The specially selected ingredients in our Scullcap & Valerian Tablets work together to help tackle stress, fear and anxiety in your pet:
- Valerian - helps to support the natural relaxant pathways within the nervous system, without affecting muscles.
- Scullcap - contains a number of valuable compounds including those which bind to the GABA receptor and reduce anxiety.
- Mistletoe - helps to support the natural calming pathways within the nervous system and helps circulation.
- Gentian - supports the other natural active compounds and helps maintain normal liver function.
What situations are Scullcap & Valerian Tablets good for?
Our Scullcap & Valerian Tablets help to support the natural calming pathways within the nervous system, making them useful in a variety of challenging situations:
- Noise phobias (fireworks/thunderstorms)
- New home/rescue
- Separation anxiety
- Travelling
- Habitual anxiety
- Canine cognitive dysfunction and associated confusion/disorientation
- Training/performance support
- False pregnancy - dog can become anxious and unsettled
- Hyperactive dogs
- Territorial urine spraying in cats
- Skin sensitivity in nervous dogs
- Conditions that are exacerbated by a heightened state of anxiety or nervous excitability
There are no quick fixes when it comes to successfully helping your dog to manage their anxiety or fears for the long-term. Often, gentle and consistent behavioural work and training are required to help them to respond more positively to stressful situations, which takes time. This process is likely to be more effective when your dog is more relaxed, and this is where Scullcap & Valerian Tablets can help.
When do I need to start giving the tablets?
Our Scullcap & Valerian Tablets should be given daily, ideally splitting the recommended daily amount in two, to give half in the morning and half in the evening. For best results, we advise that Scullcap & Valerian Tablets are used every day for a minimum of three weeks, ideally alongside gentle and consistent behavioural work and training. By reducing anxiety levels to more manageable levels, our Scullcap & Valerian Tablets increase the likelihood that your pet will be more responsive to this training.
For `one-off` stressful events, our Valerian Compound is a great short-term, quicker-acting option and can also be used alongside Scullcap & Valerian Tablets for a top-up, if needed.
Why should I use Dorwest calming products and do they really work?
Our constant focus on quality is one of the reasons Scullcap & Valerian Tablets have been used and trusted by pet owners and veterinary professionals worldwide for over 50 years. Frightened, anxious, hyperactive and stressed animals can be calmed quickly using this easy to give liquid. Dropped into the mouth, given on food or even just a few drops sprinkled on a pet’s bedding can result in a more amenable pet, so visits to the vet, travelling or moving house instantly become less stressful situations. Cats particularly love the smell of Valerian Compound, so administration really couldn’t be simpler.
The concentrated herbal extracts used in this liquid ensure that within just 30 minutes a noticeable change in behaviour occurs without causing drowsiness and the effects are quite short lived.
In situations that have a longer duration then we recommend also giving Scullcap and Valerian Tablets.
When faced with unexpected events like thunderstorms, Valerian Compound has a fast action and it can also be used in conjunction with Scullcap and Valerian Tablets in especially fearful situations and for anxious animals.
Phobias and nervous disorders can be really hard to deal with – both for pets and from their owners’ perspectives. Some dogs have naturally highly strung temperaments & others, usually calm, can become unsettled over a particular event or time of year. Many dogs find trips to the vet, long car drives, thunderstorms or fireworks stressful & might need a little extra help to stay calm & healthy. Others don’t like being left alone, which can be upsetting for the dog & their human companions. Supporting a dog’s mental wellbeing is just as important as supporting their physical health. Finding a product you can trust, that does not interfere with your dog’s health, can be a challenge. With Herbacalm, you will have an all natural, chemical free herbal supplement designed specifically to support dogs through difficult events. It can make those trips to the vet much more pleasant for everybody involved.

Grooming tips: Grooming is a wonderful wo bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress.
